Role Overview :

As a DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in the high-stakes fintech and payments domain, you will be the backbone of our platform's reliability, security, and scalability. You will work closely with engineering, security, and product teams to design and maintain robust cloud architectures that handle high-volume transaction traffic with sub-millisecond latency. Your daily efforts will directly influence the seamless processing of payments for millions of users, ensuring that our infrastructure remains resilient, compliant with stringent financial regulations, and capable of supporting our rapid growth in the competitive Bangalore fintech ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and manage highly available cloud environments on AWS to ensure 99.99% uptime for critical payment processing services.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible to reduce manual overhead and eliminate deployment errors.

- Implement and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid, reliable code releases while upholding strict quality gates.

- Enforce PCI-DSS compliance and cloud security best practices across the entire stack to protect sensitive financial data from evolving threats.

- Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker to optimize resource utilization and improve service scalability.

- Develop custom automation scripts using Python and Shell to streamline operational tasks and enhance system observability through advanced monitoring tools.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing Linux-based production environments with a deep understanding of kernel-level performance tuning and system hardening.

- Proven ability to design and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, with a strong grasp of networking, IAM, and cloud-native security protocols.

- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools, enabling the transition from manual setups to fully automated, reproducible environments.

- Strong analytical mindset for troubleshooting complex distributed systems, combined with the ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

- Experience in maintaining PCI-DSS compliant environments, showing a meticulous approach to data security and audit readiness.
