The R&D team delivers next-generation Industry-leading Dell platforms with software defined NAS solution. The team's core responsibility is to design, develop, and debug the data path, Filesystems and Protocols aspects of NAS.

What you'll achieve :

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customers business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.

You will :

- Work with Product Management, product owners, and come up with Product Design, translate design into detailed or low-level design, estimate and lead the team to deliver the features.

- Lead prototyping and testing to validate design and functionality, focusing on performance and scalability

- Refine designs based on feedback, testing, and evolving requirements. Take part in the full software development life cycle including development, test, continuous delivery & support.

- Be an active member of an Agile team, collaboratively realizing features through development, test, and delivery

Essential Requirements :

- 5 - 13 years of related experience with a Masters degree or bachelors degree.

- Hands-on coding experience in C/C++, Python

- Strong experience in Architecting / designing, developing, and maintaining resilient software infrastructure

- Expertise in NAS Storage Technologies : Filesystem internals and NFS/SMB protocols & experience in Linux development : Debugging, performance analysis and understanding of Kernel

- Strong Object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms knowledge. Agile-based development experience

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills, good communication skills and stakeholder management

Desirable Requirements :

- Familiarity with Replication and Snapshot technologies

- Ability to use AI tools for Engineering efficiency
