Job Description :

- Facilitate the Agile development process as a Scrum Master for one or more teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices.

- Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize backlog items and ensure alignment with business objectives.

- Shield the team from external distractions and impediments to maintain focus and productivity during sprints.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging feedback, and implementing process enhancements.

- Coach team members on Agile methodologies, helping them understand their roles and responsibilities within the Scrum framework.

- Track and report on key Agile metrics, such as sprint velocity, burndown charts, and team performance, to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to share best practices and drive organizational Agile maturity.

- Serve as a leader, promoting self-organization and empowerment within the team while providing guidance and support as needed.

- Act as a liaison between the development team and other stakeholders, facilitating communication and ensuring transparency.

Preferred Skill Set :

Primary :

- Comprehensive Understanding of Scrum Values, Principles, and Practices.

- Proficiency in Project Management Methodologies

- Issue Resolution and Impediment Removal

- Familiarity with Agile Tools software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

- Stakeholder Management and Communication

- Time Management and Prioritization

- Continuous Improvement Mindset

Secondary :

- Knowledge of CI/CD

- Technical Product and Processes Knowledge

- Agile Metrics and Reporting

- Strong Project Management Skills (PMBOK or PRINCE2)

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

- 6-8 years of experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.

- Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, particularly Scrum.

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification is preferred.

- Proven track record of successfully leading Agile teams and delivering high-quality software products.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Experience working with distributed teams and handling remote collaboration tools.

- Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Jira, Rally, or Trello.

- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to address team dynamics and resolve conflicts effectively.
