Key Responsibilities :

Application Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using .NET Core.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Develop and integrate APIs that support seamless retail operations.

Cloud Architecture & Azure Solutions :

- Architect, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.

- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security.

- Implement and manage Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Service Bus.

DevOps & CI/CD :

- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, automating the build, test, and deployment processes.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as ARM Templates or Terraform.

- Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment practices are in place to support high-quality software delivery.

Data Engineering & Analytics (Databricks) :

- Build and maintain data pipelines using Databricks, optimizing data flow and transformation processes for analytics and reporting.

- Work closely with data teams to ensure data is accessible, secure, and well-integrated across systems.

- Leverage Databricks and Azure Data Lake for big data processing and real-time analytics.

Retail Technology Expertise :

- Apply deep understanding of retail operations, including point-of-sale systems, inventory management, and customer engagement platforms.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure technology solutions align with retail business goals.

Gift Card Registry (Plus) :

- Utilize experience in gift card registry systems to develop and enhance gift card functionality, including integration with retail platforms, reporting, and data management.

Qualifications :

Experience :

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET Core, Azure, DevOps, and Databricks.

- Strong experience in retail technology is required, particularly with retail platforms, POS systems, and inventory management.

- Gift card registry experience is a strong plus.

Technical Skills :

- Expertise in .NET Core and C# for building scalable web applications and services.

- In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, Azure App Service, and Azure Storage.

- Proficiency in Azure DevOps for managing CI/CD pipelines, releases, and infrastructure automation.

- Experience with Databricks and Apache Spark for data processing, ETL, and big data analytics.

- Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Additional Skills :

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Retail industry knowledge, with an understanding of modern retail challenges and solutions.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Masters degree is a plus
