Job Description

We are looking for a Chatbot Developer to design, build, integrate, and optimize chatbot solutions that operate at global scale.


Role Overview :


The Chatbot Developer will be responsible for end-to-end development, configuration, integration, and optimization of DAZNs chatbot and virtual assistant platforms.


This role is highly technical, focused on NLP, system integration, automation, analytics, and platform reliability rather than conversational UX or content design.


You will work closely with Product, Customer Service, Platform Engineering, and QA teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing conversational AI solutions.


Key Responsibilities :


- Chatbot Development & Engineering Develop, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade chatbot solutions using platforms such as Ada Chatbot, Amazon Lex, IBM Watson, Microsoft LUIS, or Salesforce Einstein.


- Implement intent classification, entity extraction, dialog management, and context handling.


- Design and manage NLP pipelines to ensure high intent recognition accuracy and response relevance.


- Build and maintain bot logic using rule-based, NLP-driven, and hybrid conversational models.


- Integration & Backend Connectivity Integrate chatbots with backend systems including CRM, ticketing systems, customer databases, and third-party APIs.


- Develop secure API integrations for authentication, personalization, account validation, and transactional use cases.


- Work with microservices and cloud-based architectures to support scalable chatbot operations.


- Ensure chatbot integrations comply with security, privacy, and data protection standards.


- Analytics, Monitoring & Optimization Monitor chatbot performance metrics such as intent accuracy, containment rate, fallback rate, latency, and failure patterns.


- Use analytics and logs to troubleshoot production issues and improve bot performance.


- Continuously tune NLP models based on real user data and interaction trends.


- Implement monitoring, alerting, and dashboards to ensure high availability and reliability.


- Testing, Deployment & Support Collaborate with QA teams to execute functional, regression, and automated testing of chatbot features.


- Support CI/CD pipelines for chatbot deployments across environments.


- Identify, diagnose, and resolve production issues, defects, and integration failures.


- Participate in on-call rotations to support chatbot services and ensure business continuity.
