Job Description

Role : Database Developer

Location : Pune

Who are we looking for ?

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Expert with deep expertise in both SQL and NoSQL technologies, particularly in large-scale data environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Redshift and data warehousing concepts, along with foundational knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting tools.

Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift, MySQL, MongoDB, and Flyway.

- In-depth understanding of data warehousing principles and performance tuning techniques.

- Strong hands-on experience in building complex aggregation pipelines in NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.

- Proficient in Python or Scala for data processing and automation.

- 3+ years of experience working with AWS-managed database services.

- 3+ years of experience with Power BI or similar BI/reporting platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities :

retrieval across datasets exceeding 100 million records.

- Implement and manage database replication, partitioning, fragmentation, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.

- Oversee user and access management to ensure data security and compliance.

- Collaborate with reporting teams to support data visualization and dashboarding needs using Power BI or equivalent tools.

- Maintain and enhance database availability, scalability, and reliability through proactive monitoring and tuning

Process Skills :

- Agile Scrum and Test-Driven Development

Qualification :

- Bachelor of Engineering (Computer background preferred)
