Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SQL Server DBA to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL Server Database Administration, Azure Cloud, and DevOps, with hands-on experience in managing mission-critical database environments, automation, and cloud-based infrastructure.
Required Experience:
- 6+ years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator.
- Strong experience in SQL Server installation, configuration, administration, and upgrades.
- Experience in Azure Cloud services related to SQL Server.
- Good understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD implementation.
- Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
- Experience with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups, Replication, Log Shipping, and Clustering.
- Hands-on experience with database security, monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Knowledge of PowerShell or scripting for automation.
- Experience working in production support environments with incident management.
- Strong understanding of database migration from on-premises to Azure.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain SQL Server databases in on-premises and Azure environments.
- Monitor database performance and implement tuning recommendations.
- Design and maintain backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Automate database deployment and maintenance using DevOps tools.
- Support CI/CD pipelines for database changes.
- Perform database migrations and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure database availability.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud engineering teams.
- Ensure database security, compliance, and governance standards are maintained.
