Responsibilities :

- Designing and implementing high availability solutions like local resiliency through Windows Failover Clustering; site resiliency through database mirroring; and disaster recovery capability through log shipping, mirroring, and replication.

- Good hands-on experience in always-on and SQL clustering.

- Troubleshooting instance and performance issues.

- Capable of supporting and implementing technology projects as the primary DBA in support of business initiatives.

- Provide 24x7 production support.

- Managing Backup and Recovery.

Requirements :

- More than 6 years of experience in SQL Server database administration.

- End-to-end experience as an L2 or L3 MS SQL DBA (including Always On, log shipping, mirroring, and replication).

- Managing and administering SQL Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2014 and 2016.

- Good expertise in installation, DB upgrades/patching/migrations in SQL Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2014 and 2016.

- Good working experience in installing, migrating and supporting SQL DBAs in Azure.

- Should have experience in installing, configuring, managing, monitoring and troubleshooting Microsoft SQL Server standalone, SQL Failover cluster and Always On Availability Groups.

- Should have experience in configuring and installing TDE encryption.

- Should have knowledge in areas such as being responsible for the implementation, configuration and performance of critical SQL Server systems.

- Should have prior experience in configuring and maintaining database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.

- Should have experience in troubleshooting performance-related issues, query tuning, and index maintenance.
