Job Description :

We are seeking a Power BI Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analytics, visualization, and Power BI tools to provide insightful reports and dashboards.

As a Power BI Developer, you will work with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements, design and develop dashboards and provide actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards based on business requirements.

- Create and maintain data models and perform data transformations using Power Query and DAX Query.

- Integrate Power BI with various data sources (Snowflake, Excel, SharePoint, etc.

- Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, and other team members to gather and analyze requirements for data visualization solutions.

- Assist with providing training to end-users on how to use Power BI tools effectively.

- Monitor the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards and optimize report performance and efficiency.

- Follow best practices for Power BI development, deployment, version control, and usage.

- Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in Power BI including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.

- Experience with data modeling and knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.

- Knowledge of SQL and working with relational databases (e.g Snowflake, SQL Developer).

- Ability to work with large datasets and optimize queries for performance.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

- Familiarity with data visualization is the best practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field (preferred).

- Certification in Power BI or Microsoft Data Analyst Associate (preferred).

- Experience with other Microsoft tools including Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

- Experience in implementing Power BI in an enterprise-level environment.

- Experience in the Life Sciences and Health Industry.
