We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with 6 to 10 years of professional experience to join our growing analytics and data science team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision-making.
This role requires working closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to develop advanced analytical solutions, derive actionable insights, and drive strategic initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models and statistical techniques to solve complex business problems.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement and business growth.
- Design and execute experiments, hypothesis testing, and predictive analytics initiatives to support business decisions.
- Build recommendation systems, forecasting models, segmentation frameworks, and anomaly detection solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineers and technology teams to ensure efficient data collection, preparation, validation, and transformation processes.
- Translate business requirements into analytical frameworks and scalable data science solutions.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Monitor model performance, conduct periodic retraining, and ensure continuous improvement of deployed solutions.
- Work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets from multiple sources.
- Research and evaluate emerging data science methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including product management, operations, finance, marketing, and leadership teams to support strategic initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, privacy regulations, and organizational security standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 6 to 10 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, or related domains.
- Strong understanding of statistical modeling, probability theory, regression techniques, clustering, classification algorithms, and optimization methods.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and analytical tools.
- Experience working with SQL and large-scale databases for data extraction and analysis.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and big data ecosystems.
- Expertise in data visualization and business intelligence tools.
- Experience in developing forecasting models, recommendation engines, customer analytics, and predictive solutions.
- Strong understanding of feature engineering, model evaluation metrics, and model deployment methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in cloud-based environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Exposure to MLOps concepts, model monitoring, and automated machine learning workflows.
- Experience with NLP, Generative AI, or advanced deep learning techniques will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
