Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled MongoDB Data Modeler with strong expertise in designing and implementing NoSQL data models. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with unstructured and semi-structured data, building scalable database architectures, and optimizing performance for high-volume applications. You will work closely with application developers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure efficient data design and data access strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient MongoDB data models based on application requirements.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into logical and physical NoSQL data models.

- Work extensively with unstructured and semi-structured data in document-oriented databases.

- Develop and optimize MongoDB queries, aggregation pipelines, and indexing strategies.

- Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.

- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across database systems.

- Collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps teams for seamless data integration.

- Implement best practices for schema design, data partitioning, and replication.

- Work with MongoDB Atlas for database deployment, monitoring, and scaling.

- Conduct performance profiling and capacity planning for large datasets.

- Support data migration activities from relational to NoSQL databases where required.

- Document data models, standards, and processes for future reference.

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong experience in MongoDB data modeling and schema design.

- Proficiency in designing NoSQL data models for high-performance applications.

- Hands-on experience with MongoDB Atlas (cloud environment).

- Expertise in handling unstructured and document-based data.

- Strong knowledge of indexing, aggregation framework, and query optimization.

- Experience in database performance tuning and monitoring.

Nice to Have Skills:

- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Java.

- Experience working with microservices architecture.

- Familiarity with REST APIs and backend integrations.

- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Relevant certifications in MongoDB or NoSQL technologies are a plus.
