Data Management Analyst - SQL/Python

Primary Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with Data Owners, Data Stewards, and business/technology teams to populate the enterprise data catalogue.

- Work with stakeholders to define and create data quality rules within the chosen data quality tooling.

- Support the roll-out and adoption of data management tooling and marketplace across various business areas.

- Assist in the implementation of data management policies, standards, and procedures.

- Contribute to other data management activities as required to enhance the organization's data capabilities.

- Utilize SQL to query and analyze datasets for data profiling and validation.

- Effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and organize work to ensure deadlines are met.

- Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and a passion for making a tangible difference in data management practices.

Requirements :

- Practical experience of working in a data governance/management team at a significant organization for 4+ years.

- Working experience in one or more data management tools such as Informatica Axon/IDQ/EDC, Collibra, Datactics, or Microsoft Purview.

- Good knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing datasets.

- Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.

- Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm to learn and contribute to data management initiatives.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT.

- Experience working in the financial services / insurance industry (Desirable).

- Data Management certifications (a plus).
