We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer (Scala) with strong expertise in Big Data, Cloud, and Data Pipeline development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, building, and optimizing large-scale data solutions and should be comfortable working in a collaborative, client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data lake solutions.

- Develop and optimize applications using Scala (or Java/Python when required).

- Work extensively with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, and ADLS.

- Implement solutions on cloud platforms (preferably Azure; AWS/GCP experience also considered).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, availability, and reliability.

- Integrate solutions with CI/CD pipelines and follow full SDLC best practices.

- Troubleshoot and optimize performance of large datasets and distributed systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 6+ years of experience in software/data engineering and solution delivery.

- Proficiency in Scala (with exposure to Java/Python).

- Strong expertise in Big Data stack - Spark/Databricks, Hadoop/ADLS.

- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable).

- Experience with CI/CD, version control, and DevOps practices.

- Proven ability to work with large-scale data processing and pipeline development.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with Delta Lake and modern data lakehouse architectures.

- Exposure to real-time data streaming tools (Kafka, Event Hubs, etc.).

- Familiarity with Agile methodology and client engagement.
