Data Engineer - Python/SQL/ETL

Job Description :

- 4+ years of experience in data engineering, building enterprise-scale data systems.

- Experience working with cloud data platforms (AWS S3/Glue/Redshift, GCP BigQuery, Azure Data Lake, Snowflake, Databricks).

- Hands-on experience with batch and/or streaming data processing frameworks.

- History of supporting analytics, ML, and BI teams through reliable data provisioning.

Technical Skills :

- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and optionally Scala or Java.

- Expertise in ETL/ELT development using tools such as Airflow, dbt, Glue, Dataflow, or similar workflow orchestrators.

- Experience with distributed data processing frameworks (Spark, Flink, Hadoop).

- Proficiency working with data lakes, warehouses, and columnar storage formats (Parquet, ORC, Avro).

- Strong understanding of data modeling, normalization/denormalization, and schema design.

- Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data pipelines.

- Experience with API integrations, real-time pipelines (Kafka, Pub/Sub), and message queues.

- Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, lineage, and metadata management.

General Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Ability to work collaboratively with Data Science, Engineering, and Product teams.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex data concepts clearly.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on maintainability, reliability, and scalability
