Role : Data Engineer

Total Experience : 4 to 6 yrs

Location : Bangalore (candidate currently in Bangalore)

Notice period - Immediate to start within next week

mandatory skills : Amazon QuickSight, Aws, ETL/ELT

Required Qualifications :

- 3-6+ years of experience in Data Engineering

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services: Glue, Redshift, Athena, S3

- Proficiency in SQL and Python (good to have)

- Experience integrating data from RDS/PostgreSQL

- Working knowledge of AWS Lake Formation and data security best practices

- Experience supporting BI tools- Amazon QuickSight

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines that power Amazon QuickSight dashboards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS-native analytics services and work closely with BI teams to ensure reliable, high-quality data delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines using AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, and Amazon Athena

- Integrate and transform data from multiple sources including RDS/PostgreSQL and Amazon S3

- Build datasets optimized for QuickSight reporting and analytics

- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, lineage, and observability

- Manage data access and governance using AWS Lake Formation and IAM

- Collaborate with BI and Analytics teams to align on semantic layers and business definitions- Optimize query performance and cost across AWS analytics services

- Ensure best practices for data security, scalability, and reliability
