Detailed Job Description :

- We are seeking an experienced Data Consultant Data Governance to strengthen our data management and governance practices.

- The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in data governance frameworks, metadata management, and quality management processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance.

- Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to align data requirements with business objectives.

- Monitor and guide data management practices across the organization.

- Facilitate data governance meetings and workshops to promote stewardship and accountability.

- Create and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries and metadata repositories.

- Support the implementation of data management tools and technologies to improve governance capabilities.

- Contribute to initiatives involving data lineage and reference data management.

Mandatory Skills (Top 5) :

- Strong knowledge of data management and data governance frameworks, metadata, and data quality management.

- Hands-on experience with IGC, IA, Alation, Bigeye.

- Expertise in Data Catalog / Governance tools such as Alation or Collibra.

- Solid understanding of SQL and Advanced SQL.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Good To Have :

- Certifications in data governance (e.g., CDMP, DGSP).

- Basic scripting or automation skills (Python / Shell).

- Knowledge of ETL / ELT processes.

- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau).
