Job Description

Position : Data Analyst.

Location :
Remote.

Duration :
6 month contract with extension.

Responsibilities include :


- Contribute in projects relating to client or internal product requirements involving developing or reviewing business specifications followed by testing.


- Extract, analyze, and interpret large datasets to provide actionable insights for business decision-making.


- Utilize statistical techniques and data mining tools to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.


- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.


- Present complex data in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders across various departments.


- Implement data validation processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data.


- Conduct regular data audits and address data quality issues promptly.


- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, finance, and product management, to understand their data needs.


- Participate in global project meetings and contribute to strategic planning.


- Create and maintain detailed documentation of data processes, methodologies, and analysis results.


- Ensure documentation is aligned with corporate standards and accessible to global teams.


- Stay updated on emerging data technologies, tools, and industry trends.


- Proactively seek opportunities to enhance data processes, performance, and scalability.


Your skills and experience that will help you excel :


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail


- Ability to multitask and work under pressure is a must


- Highly developed organizational and interpersonal skills


- SQL and basic UNIX command is an advantage


- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the HR domain.

- Should have a good understanding of HR systems especially Workday; experience and understanding of HR workday data.

- Experience with functional document creation.

- Experience on SQL is a must, with prior experience on snowflake DB a plus.

- Sound analytical and reporting skills combined with excellent communication skills.

- Experience working with Data dictionaries and working with Data Owners/Stewards on Business Glossary etc. on a day-to-day basis.

- Proven ability to work effectively in a global environment with people at all levels, preferably in a professional services organization.
