The Data Analyst will be responsible for architecting and executing the organizations enterprise analytics framework, leading business-critical strategic programs, and driving data-led transformation.
This role requires deep technical knowledge of data engineering and business intelligence tools, coupled with proven program management capabilities.
This is a cross-functional leadership position that will support decision-making at the CXO level, manage high-impact initiatives, establish analytics maturity, and ensure data governance and compliance across departments.
Key Responsibilities :
Enterprise Data Strategy & Architecture :
- Design and implement a scalable, cloud-compatible data architecture that supports real-time and historical analytics.
- Develop and maintain a centralized data model aligned to key business functions (Sales, Marketing, Supply
Chain, Finance).
- Identify and deploy data platforms and integration tools to streamline ETL processes and unify disparate data sources.
Analytics and Business Intelligence :
- Drive advanced analytics initiatives, including forecasting, segmentation, and trend analysis using statistical techniques.
- Define and track enterprise KPIs and operational metrics for performance optimization.
Special Initiatives and Strategic Programs :
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of strategic initiatives from feasibility analysis and planning to execution, stakeholder alignment, and delivery.
- Leverage analytics to identify opportunities for new initiatives across automation, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
- Own program budgets, risk management, change control, and executive reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, and Finance teams to solve high-priority business problems using data-driven approaches.
- Institutionalize standard operating procedures for analytics and project governance.
Data Governance and Compliance :
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks including GDPR, ISO standards, and IT security protocols.
- Maintain robust audit trails and documentation for internal and external data usage.
Technology Evaluation and Innovation :
- Drive automation of recurring reports, alerts, and anomaly detection for business-critical functions.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in data engineering, AI/ML integration, and cloud analytics platforms.
Team Building and Leadership :
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and innovation.
- Provide guidance on data literacy initiatives across the organization to elevate analytical maturity.
Required Qualifications :
Educational Background :
- Masters degree or MBA with a focus on Business Analytics, Technology Strategy, or Information Systems is preferred.
Professional Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory) :
- Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent Agile/Scrum certifications
- Google Data Analytics or relevant Coursera/Udacity specializations
Experience Requirements :
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving enterprise programs.
- Proven expertise in building and deploying scalable analytics frameworks in high-growth, tech-enabled organizations
