Data Analyst - Dashboard Design

Description :

Position Summary :

- Develop and maintain dashboards and regular reports for school leadership and academic departments.

- Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support strategic planning and continuous

improvement initiatives.

- Work with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics.

- Collaborate with academic teams to evaluate curriculum impact, program effectiveness, and student progress.

- Ensure data accuracy, privacy, and compliance with education data regulations (e.g., FERPA).

- Assist with grant reporting, accreditation data, and performance audits as needed.

- Support training of staff on data tools and best practices for data usage.

Qualifications :

Required :

- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).

- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills - ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.

- Experience working with education data or in an academic environment is a plus.

Preferred :

- Masters degree in a relevant field.

- Experience with Python or R for data analysis.

- Familiarity with student information systems (SIS) and learning management systems (LMS).
