About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Analyst with 7-10 years of experience to join our team in Mumbai on a hybrid model. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data governance, data lineage, and data quality, with significant experience in the Private Equity or Capital Markets sector. This role is for a detail-oriented professional who can analyze complex data, ensure its integrity, and support regulatory reporting. You will be instrumental in a project focused on maintaining high data standards and providing critical insights.

Key Responsibilities :

- Data Analysis & Governance : Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities. You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing data governance policies and best practices.

- Data Lineage & Quality : Map and document data lineage to understand the flow of data from source to consumption. You will also be responsible for ensuring data quality by identifying and remediating data errors and inconsistencies.

- Regulatory Reporting : Leverage your domain expertise to support regulatory reporting requirements. This involves preparing and validating data to meet strict compliance standards.

- SQL Proficiency : Utilize advanced SQL skills to query, manipulate, and analyze large datasets. You will be responsible for writing complex queries to extract insights and validate data.

- Domain Expertise : Apply your experience in Private Equity or Capital Markets to understand

business needs and data requirements. This is a mandatory requirement for at least two of the

four key areas (Data Governance, Data Lineage, Data Quality, and Regulatory Reporting).

- Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT, and compliance, to ensure data solutions align with business objectives and regulatory

requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 7-10 years of experience as a Data Analyst.

- Mandatory : Excellent proficiency in SQL.

- Mandatory : Experience in Private Equity or Capital Markets.

- Mandatory : Experience with regulatory reporting.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
