About the Role :

We're looking for a Data Analyst to join our team and drive the development of analytics-driven fraud detection solutions. In this role, you'll design, build, and optimize analytical workflows using SQL, Python, PySpark, and Hadoop, while working closely with fraud analytics and operations teams to strengthen frameworks for card transactions and account opening domains.

Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale datasets.

- Use Python (Pandas, NumPy, etc.) for advanced data processing, automation, and analytical solutions.

- Build and maintain Tableau dashboards to deliver actionable insights.

- Perform data wrangling, cleansing, and transformation from multiple data sources.

- Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential fraudulent activities in card transactions and account opening domains.

- Collaborate with fraud analytics & operations teams to strengthen fraud detection frameworks.

- Document processes, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

- Drive continuous improvements in data pipelines, tools, and reporting mechanisms.

Qualifications :

- 4-6 years' experience in data analytics roles (not data engineering).

- Proven expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark, and Hadoop/Oracle.

- Strong background in data analysis, fraud analytics, or financial analytics.

- Experience in Tableau dashboards & storytelling with data.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
