About the Role :

Danfoss Drives is seeking an experienced ALM Techno-Functional Analyst Polarion to drive the development, customization, integration, and continuous improvement of our global ALM platform. The role combines hands-on Polarion development with solution design and technical ownership, working closely with global stakeholders to deliver scalable and maintainable ALM solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement Polarion solutions, customizations, workflows, forms, reports, dashboards, and automation.

- Develop Workflow Functions/Conditions, Live Reports, widgets, and Form Extensions.

- Develop Polarion extensions/plugins using Java, JavaScript, Polarion Open Java API, Polarion Rendering API, Polarion Scripting API, Polarion REST API and Apache Velocity.

- Configure and administer Polarion including Work Items, Documents, Plans, Test Runs, Permissions, and Traceability.

- Design and maintain integrations between Polarion and enterprise systems, preferably Siemens Teamcenter / PLM.

- Actively engage in testing and releasing of updates and additions to our Global ALM solutions.

- Translate business and engineering requirements into scalable technical solutions, balancing standard Polarion capabilities versus customization.

- Support Polarion upgrades, defect resolution, performance improvements, and technical modernization.

- Establish reusable development standards and provide technical guidance to other Polarion developers/support teams.

Background & Qualifications :

- 5 - 8 years of experience in Polarion ALM development, customization, configuration, and support.

- Strong hands-on experience with Polarion Workflows, Work Items, Live Reports, dashboards, Forms, APIs, and extensions.

- Strong hands-on experience in Java, JavaScript, REST APIs, Apache Velocity, SQL, Polarion Open Java API, and Rendering API, including plugin and extension development.

- Experience integrating Polarion with PLM/Teamcenter or other enterprise engineering systems.

- Experience in solution design, technical analysis, and translating business requirements into robust ALM solutions.

- Exposure to AI solutions and their application to enhance solution capabilities and operational efficiency would be an advantage.
