As a Shopify Developer at DailyObjects, you will be instrumental in enhancing and maintaining our eCommerce platform.

You will collaborate closely with the marketing, design, and product teams to implement new features, optimize existing functionalities, and ensure a seamless user experience.

Your work will directly impact customer engagement, conversion rates, and overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and customize Shopify 2.0 themes using Liquid, JSON templates, SCSS, and ES6 to align with brand guidelines and enhance user experience.

- Optimize website performance, SEO, and accessibility for enhanced user engagement.

- Integrate third-party apps/external services using Storefront/Admin GraphQL and REST APIs.

- Manage Git-based deployment pipelines, performing code reviews and maintaining effective documentation.

- Build custom Shopify apps to address specific business needs and enhance customer engagement.

- Optimize website performance for speed, scalability, and search engine visibility to improve user experience and drive organic traffic.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Shopify platform to ensure smooth operation of the online store.

- Conduct rigorous testing, including unit/snapshot tests, Theme Check, and comprehensive cross-device/browser quality assurance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and implement changes to the Shopify platform.

Required Skillset :

1) Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Shopify development.

2) Require prior experience in Liquid, including sections, snippets, filters, and Online Store 2.0 JSON templates.

3) Proficiency with Shopify CLI v3 for theme management and Theme Check linting tools.

4) Strong skills in semantic HTML5 and responsive CSS/SCSS design.

5) Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), familiarity with Alpine.js and basic React (Hydrogen).

6) Experience with consuming Admin & Storefront GraphQL APIs and setting up webhooks.

7) Proven ability to optimize Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, TBT) and perform audits for app bloat using tools like Lighthouse and Theme Inspector.

8) Competence in implementing SEO best practices, including JSON-LD, structured data, and meta objects.

9) Familiarity with Git feature-branch workflow, PR reviews, and light CI pipelines using GitHub Actions or Bitbucket Pipelines.

10) Ability to hand off from design tools like Figma for pixel-perfect implementation.
