We are looking for a talented Power BI Developer with 3 - 7 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Business Intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, Oracle Database, and SQL Server, along with experience in data modeling, SQL development, and dashboard optimization. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, transform raw data into meaningful insights, and deliver high-quality dashboards and analytical reports that support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.

- Gather business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.

- Connect Power BI with Oracle, SQL Server, and other enterprise data sources.

- Develop and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.

- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities.

- Build and maintain efficient data models using Star and Snowflake schemas.

- Create DAX measures, calculated columns, KPIs, and Power Query transformations.

- Optimize report performance, dataset refresh, and data models.

- Troubleshoot report, data connectivity, and performance issues.

- Collaborate with business users, functional teams, and database administrators.

- Ensure data accuracy, security, governance, and reporting standards.

- Support report deployment, scheduled refreshes, and production issue resolution.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (Desktop & Service)

- Expertise in DAX, Power Query, and Data Modeling

- Strong experience with Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server

- Excellent SQL programming and query optimization skills

- Good understanding of ETL processes and Data Warehousing concepts

- Knowledge of Star Schema and Snowflake Schema

- Experience in report performance tuning and dataset optimization

- Hands-on experience with Power BI Gateway and Scheduled Refresh

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills :

- Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL / Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Snowflake, SSIS / SSRS, Python (Good to Have), Azure DevOps, Agile / Scrum methodology

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Microsoft Power BI or Azure certifications are an added advantage.
