Role Overview:

As a .NET Engineer specializing in Kubernetes and Helm, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and resilient .NET applications within a containerized environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and architects, to ensure the seamless integration of .NET applications with Kubernetes clusters. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of our software delivery pipeline, enabling us to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients faster and more effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop robust and scalable .NET applications that are optimized for deployment in Kubernetes environments.

- Create and maintain Helm charts for deploying and managing .NET applications on Kubernetes clusters, ensuring consistency and repeatability.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment of .NET applications to Kubernetes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to .NET applications running in Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and performance.

- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to optimize infrastructure and application configurations for performance, scalability, and security.

- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for .NET development and Kubernetes deployment within the organization.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in .NET development, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.

- Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.

- Deep understanding of containerization technologies, particularly Docker, and container orchestration platforms, specifically Kubernetes.

- Hands-on experience with Helm for packaging and deploying applications on Kubernetes.

- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools, such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in complex systems.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
