About the Role :

Cvent is looking for a Manager, Site Reliability Engineering to help us scale our systems and ensure stability, reliability, performance, and rapid deployments of our platform.

You will play an integral part in advancing DevOps maturity and be a part of a new culture of quality and site reliability.

What You Will Be Doing :

- Set the direction and strategy for your team, and help shape the overall SRE program for the company.

- Support growth by ensuring a robust, scalable, cloud-first infrastructure.

- Own site stability, performance, and capacity planning.

- Participate early in the SDLC to ensure reliability is built in from the beginning.

- Ensure best engineering practices through automation, infrastructure as code, robust system monitoring, alerting, auto scaling, and self-healing.

- Manage complex technical projects and a team of SREs.

- Recruit and develop staff; build a culture of excellence in site reliability and automation.

- Lead by example - stay hands-on in debugging and coding.

- Drive AI-first SRE operations: AI-assisted incident triage and root-cause analysis, agent-driven runbook execution, and automated toil reduction.

- Partner with teams on production readiness for AI-powered features: shared SLOs, capacity and cost guardrails, eval-gated release practices, and incident playbooks for LLM and agent workloads.

What You Will Need :

- 11+ years of hands-on technical leadership, including 4+ years managing engineers.

- 5+ years of demonstrable experience leading site reliability and performance in large-scale, high-traffic environments.

- Architect-level understanding of one or more major public cloud services (AWS, GCP or Azure).

- Strong knowledge of modern platforms like Fargate, Docker, Kubernetes etc.

- Experience with observability tools (Datadog, NewRelic, ELK stack, etc) and Database technologies (SQL Server, Postgres and Couchbase preferred).

- Hands-on experience applying AI agents or LLM tooling to operations (incident response, automation, toil reduction), with familiarity with MCP and agent frameworks like Mastra, ADK etc.
