Role : Power BI Developer

About the Job :

We at Curate Data (A Startup in Business Analytics & Strategy space) are on a look out for a dynamic leader who knows Power BI very well, to be part of our Business Intelligence reporting Team. The incumbent is required to have a good understanding of business analytics & reporting using Power BI in FMCG companies. A past record of working in FMCG Business analytics team on Power BI and delivering successful outcomes of implementing analytics strategy is recommended.

Responsibilities :

- Understand the requirement of FMCG companies for moving from insight to action.

- Design, build and deploy advance Power BI solutions.

- Build dashboard/reports based on the specifications from the stakeholders.

- The work includes data extraction, data transformation, data load and data quality management.

- Enhance existing reports regularly based on feedback from stakeholders.

- Produce/distribute/automate recurring reports in an efficient and reliable way.

- Exchange experiences and support other reporting specialists.

- Understanding business requirement and designing of new dashboards on various platforms.

- Collaborate with the internal data scientist team to get the implementation of Predictive analytics BI tools on Power BI platform.

Key Performance Indicators :

- On time distribution of report with 100% accuracy as agreed with stakeholders.

- Create/Design/Enhance report as agreed with business partner.

- Translate the business reporting needs into an efficient and user-friendly solution.

- Grasp the business requirement and reciprocate them in the form of insightful reports.

- Proactively schedule status check updates with the stakeholders and seek feedbacks.

- Bring innovation in reporting landscape using new tool & technology.

Qualifications :

- Expertise in Power bi is a must have qualification.

- Bachelor/master's degree in computer science, information systems, Statistics, or any other quantitative field.

- 1 to 3 years of experience in Power BI development.

- Need to be excellent in DAX in MS Power BI and Power query.

- Expert knowledge using advance calculations using MS Power BI and MS Excel.

- Experience in developing Visualization reports and dashboards using Power BI and other tools.

- Excellent knowledge of connecting MS Power BI to various data sources.

- Ability to write SQL queries.

- Strong technical and communication skills, self-driven, open-minded.
