Creospan - Senior Software Development Engineer - Test - Automation Testing

Role : Senior SDET.

Location : Kharadi Pune (Hybrid).

Experience : 8+ Years.

Client : BFSI Domain (Trade Settlement/Custody/Capital Market).

Availability : Immediate Joiners Only.

Key Responsibilities :

- Translate product requirements into effective test scenarios and test cases.

- Participate in business requirement discussions and translate them into actionable test strategies.

- Lead discussions independently to clarify requirements and data dependencies.

- Work closely with development and product teams to identify and resolve issues.

- Contribute to test strategy and planning for new features and enhancements.

- Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.

- Exposure to automation frameworks is a plus, but not the primary focus.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clarity in requirements and data dependencies.

- Perform functional automation, assist with unit testing, API testing, security testing, DevOps and performance testing, and stress test activities.

- Identify ways end-users and consumers will work with the software and help create the best experience possible for the intended user by identifying areas needing continued adjustment.

- Performing performance, functional, and regression testing.

- Preparing & maintaining test reports.

- Mentor the team in automation design, best practices and implementation.

Candidate Profile Must Include :

- Strong understanding of trade life cycle and related financial processes testing.

- Proven ability to lead requirement discussions and derive test cases independently.

- Familiarity with test management tools (Java 8, JUnit, SoapUI, Postman, Selenium, TestNG, JavaScript, Jest, Rest Assured, Cucumber, testing methodologies frameworks TDD BDD & Agile Methodologies (Jira, Azure Boards, Bitbucket, Git).

- Experience in testing REST API's and messaging solutions such as Solace, MQ, Kafka, relational/NoSQL database concepts.

- Experience in framework ownership, test strategy, and mentoring juniors.

- Comfortable in fast-paced Agile/Scrum teams.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
