We are hiring a Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with 8+ years of experience for an exciting long-term engagement with a global leader in asset management and financial services(Trade settlement).

The position is based in Pune (Hybrid) and focuses on test automation, backend validation, and CI/CD integration in a BFSI environment.

Role : Senior SDET.

Location : Kharadi Pune (Hybrid).

Experience : 8+ Years.

Client : BFSI Domain (Trade Settlement/Custody).

Availability : Immediate Joiners Preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead design, development, and execution of UI and API automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, and Rest Assured.

- Drive automation strategy across functional, regression, and integration layers.

- Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure test coverage across services, messaging layers, and databases.

- Maintain and scale automation frameworks integrated with Jenkins pipelines.

- Analyze test reports and logs for root cause analysis; support production-level triaging.

- Collaborate across QA, DevOps, and environment teams to ensure smooth CI/CD delivery.

- Implement or support service virtualization tools (WireMock, DevTest, etc.) as required.

- Participate in peer reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong in Core Java, OOPs, Collections, Exception Handling.

- Hands-on in Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber (BDD), and Maven.

- Proven experience with REST API testing using Rest Assured or Postman.

- CI/CD toolchain: Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket, JIRA.

- Experience with test result debugging, log monitoring, and pipeline health.

- SQL/DB knowledge for backend data validation.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Experience with service virtualization tools (e.g., WireMock, DevTest).

- Exposure to BFSI / Wealth / Payments domain.

- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

- Familiarity with TOSCA, Salesforce, or ETL testing is a plus.

Candidate Profile Must Include :

- Candidates must have hands-on automation expertise across Java, Selenium, Cucumber (BDD), API, and UI Testing.

- Experience in framework ownership, test strategy, and mentoring juniors.

- Comfortable in fast-paced Agile/Scrum teams.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Based in or open to Pune (Hybrid setup).
