Creospan - Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Java/Selenium

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with expertise in manual and automation testing, favourably in the Telecom domain.

The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in Selenium automation, API testing, and performance testing & Robotic Framework Automation.

This role requires hands-on experience in test planning, execution, automation scripting, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Job Title : QA Automation Engineer (Telecom Domain).

Location : Pune Hybrid.

Experience : 6+ years into Automation Testing.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Automation & Execution :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium Automation Framework and Robot Framework (Python & Java-based).

- Execute and analyze results of API automation tests (Postman, Rest Assured).

- Implement performance testing strategies (e.g., JMeter).

- Ensure proper test data preparation and test case execution.

Manual & Production Testing :

- Conduct progression testing, regression testing, white-box, and black-box testing.

- Perform shakeout testing and production environment validation to ensure stability and reliability.

Test Management & Reporting :

- Track and manage defects using JIRA (bug creation, RCA, defect SLAs, reporting).

- Implement test cases and maintain test artifacts in QTest.

- Consolidate test reports and provide clear insights into testing outcomes.

CI/CD & Version Control :

- Work with Jenkins and GitHub for continuous integration and deployment.

- Utilize test management tools for test execution and tracking.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Work closely with development, business, and testing teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Present test results and insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.

Skill Set & Tools :

Automation Testing : Selenium, Robot Framework (Python & Java).

API Testing : Postman, Rest Assured.

Performance Testing : JMeter.

Test Management : JIRA, QTest.

CI/CD & Version Control : Jenkins, GitHub.

Manual Testing : Regression, White-Box, Black-Box, Shakeout Testing.

IoT & Telecom Knowledge : Understanding of IoT architecture, protocols, and devices.

Requirements :

- 6+ years of experience in QA (Manual + Automation).

- Strong expertise in Selenium, Robot Framework, and API automation.

- Hands-on experience in performance testing (JMeter), CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub).

- Proficiency in manual testing methodologies, test planning, execution, and reporting.

- Experience with IoT and Telecom projects is a plus.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred :

- Experience with IoT platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, etc.).

- ISTQB certification or equivalent.

- Knowledge of cloud technologies and DevOps practices.
