About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler / Data Architect to join our team in the Asset Management / Security Servicing space.

You will play a key role in building and managing data models (conceptual, logical, physical) and ensuring trusted, high-quality, business-aligned data solutions on Snowflake and Azure platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Create and manage conceptual, logical & physical data models across multiple domains (accounts, holdings, transactions).

- Design and optimize Snowflake data solutions (clustering, partitioning, schema best practices).

- Drive data architecture & governance, ensuring data is trusted, understood, and easy to use.

- Collaborate with Data Product Owners, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.

- Document and present architecture/design decisions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.

Must-Have Skills :

- 10+ years in Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Modelling, Database Engineering.

- Strong expertise in OLTP/OLAP design, Data Warehouse, ELT/ETL processes.

- Proven experience in Snowflake (data sharing, streams, tasks, schema design).

- Proficiency with Enterprise Modelling tools (Erwin, PowerDesigner, IBM Infosphere).

- Hands-on with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Cosmos DB.

- Excellent SQL skills (performance tuning, query optimization, indexing).

- Knowledge of ontology & taxonomy design and regulatory/financial data standards (BIAN, ACORD, ESG).

- Strong communication skills with ability to work across tech & business teams.

Nice to Have :

- 3+ years in security servicing / asset management / investment domain.

- Familiarity with MDM, data vault, information architecture frameworks.

- Exposure to Python / R for data analysis.

- Strong presentation skills (architecture diagrams, stakeholder discussions).
