About the Role :

We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer with hands-on experience in e-commerce platforms to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and has a strong understanding of end-to-end testing of e-commerce workflows such as product listings, cart functionality, checkout, and payment integration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

- Design and execute test cases (manual) for web and mobile platforms.

- Perform regression, functional, integration, and UI testing for e-commerce features.

- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

- Validate fixes and conduct re-testing as needed.

- Work closely with developers and product managers to resolve issues.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5-7 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester.

- Proven experience testing e-commerce platforms or applications.

- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.

- Hands-on experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).

- Experience working with issue tracking tools like JIRA.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Familiarity with cross-browser and mobile testing.

Nice to Have :

- Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.

- Familiarity with databases and ability to write basic SQL queries.

- Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus but not required.

- Exposure to platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built e-commerce systems.
