Description :

- Develop, design, and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Cognos Analytics tools.

- Collaborate with business users and data teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Apply strong data modeling concepts and best practices in report design to ensure accuracy and performance.

- Write complex SQL queries and work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL to extract and manipulate data.

- Analyze large and complex data sets, providing actionable insights through well-designed reports.

- Support report troubleshooting, performance tuning, and enhancements as needed.

- Work with AWS fundamentals to support data integration and cloud-based BI solutions.

- Ensure documentation of reporting solutions and adhere to data governance policies.

Technical Skills & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Cognos BI report development.

- Proficient in Cognos Analytics suite for report and dashboard creation.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts, specifically PostgreSQL.

- Familiarity with AWS fundamentals and cloud-based data services.

- Excellent data modeling and report design skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to translate business requirements into effective BI solutions.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications in Cognos BI or AWS are a plus.

- Experience working in Agile teams.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
