Role Responsibilities :

Verify the requests for firewall rule opening & other Security related requests in Fortigate, Cisco firewalls & implement the same by following the change process. If needed co-ordinate with the requestor to correct it as per standard.

(what they will be doing) - verify the requests for new virtual IP creation, certificate renewal & other requests in F5 LTM, work on implementing the same by following the change process. If needed co-ordinate with the requestor to correct it as per standard.

-Good understanding of OSPF and BGP Routing Protocols.

- knowledgeable to work in Service Now Ticketing environment with incidents, requests, for creating changes and to follow the process.

- Attend Change Management Calls to represent changes and to get approval.

- Work with vendor support teams (like Cisco,F5, ISPs) and other Infra. teams on Infrastructure related issues and get it resolved.

- understanding of Enterprise switching environment and troubleshooting skills

- understanding of L2-L3/VLANs, switching stacks in Enterprise environment.

-should be a good team player and willing to adjust the work timings as required and be available for off-business hours change support activities.

Must Have Skills/Prior Experiences :

-Good communication skills.

- Good knowledge & experience in Fortigate Firewalls, Cisco ASA or FTD

- Good knowledge & experience in Enterprise Routing in OSPF, BGP, VRFs

- Good knowledge & experience in Enterprise switching, Nexus switches, virtual switches, stack switches

- Basic knowledge & experience in F5 load balancers (LTM/GTM)

- Good knowledge over general Networking concepts like DHCP, DNS, IP Address management, NAT, IPSec VPN, NTP,SNMP is must

- Good debug/troubleshooting skills in general Enterprise Network environment.

Plus/Nice to Have Skills/Prior Experiences :

- configuration scripting and automation capabilities.
