Cognativ Inc - Backend Developer - NestJS/Node.js

Requirements :

- 5+ years of backend development and 3+ years building large-scale mobile APIs.

- Strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, and PostgreSQL.

- Experience designing REST APIs, authentication/authorization (JWT, RBAC), and distributed systems.

- Hands-on experience with Redis, background jobs, asynchronous processing, and caching.

- Knowledge of OAuth2/OpenID Connect, push notifications (APNs/FCM), and API security is preferred.

- Familiarity with CI/CD, observability, logging, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.

Responsibilities :

- Design and own backend architecture, database models, and scalable API services.

- Collaborate with Product and Mobile teams, write clean, well-tested code, and drive engineering best practices.

Nice-to-have :

- Drizzle ORM, Bun, GitHub Actions/Jenkins/Azure DevOps, event-driven architectures, WebSockets/SSE, and AI-assisted development tools.
