Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced NetSuite Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in NetSuite ERP customization, SuiteScript development, workflows, and integrations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable developing, debugging, and maintaining NetSuite solutions independently.

This role requires someone who can write clean and functional SuiteScript code from scratch, understand the underlying business and technical requirements, and confidently explain their implementation decisions, trade-offs, and approach.

Key Responsibilities :

NetSuite Development & Customization :

- Develop, customize, enhance, and maintain NetSuite ERP solutions based on business requirements.

- Work extensively with SuiteScript 1.0, 2.0, and 2.1.

- Develop and maintain custom scripts, workflows, records, forms, fields, and other NetSuite customizations.

- Translate functional requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.

- Analyze existing customizations and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

SuiteScript Development :

- Hands-on experience with the following SuiteScript components is required :

1. Map/Reduce Scripts

2. Scheduled Scripts

3. User Event Scripts

4. Client Scripts

5. Suitelets

6. Custom modules and reusable scripts

SuiteFlow & Workflow :

- Design, develop, configure, and maintain SuiteFlow workflows.

- Automate business processes using NetSuite workflows.

- Troubleshoot workflow execution issues and optimize existing workflows.

NetSuite Integrations :

- Develop and support integrations between NetSuite and external systems.

- Work with APIs, web services, and integration frameworks as applicable.

- Troubleshoot integration failures, data synchronization issues, and API-related problems.

Debugging & Problem Solving :

- Investigate and resolve issues across scripts, workflows, customizations, and integrations.

- Debug code independently and identify the root cause of technical problems.

- Optimize scripts and solutions for performance, governance, scalability, and maintainability.

Code Quality & Technical Ownership :

- Write clean, structured, reusable, and maintainable code.

- Follow appropriate development and coding standards.

- Review and improve existing SuiteScript implementations.

Required Technical Skills :

- 4+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP

- 5+ years of overall software/engineering experience

- Strong hands-on experience with SuiteScript 1.0, 2.0, 2.1, SuiteFlow, NetSuite customization, and integrations.

- Strong understanding of JavaScript.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with RESTlets, REST/SOAP APIs, NetSuite Web Services, Git, and SDLC best practices.
