About the Role :

We are seeking a hands-on DevOps Lead with strong expertise in cloud platforms, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and modern DevOps practices. This role is critical in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable deployment pipelines while driving automation and operational excellence across multiple technology stacks.

The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute strategically to the organizations DevOps roadmap.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud & Infrastructure :

- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure.

- Build secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments.

- Optimize infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

Automation & CI/CD :

- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

- Automate application deployments and configuration management.

- Integrate automated testing, quality gates, and security checks into pipelines.

Containerization & Orchestration :

- Containerize applications using Docker.

- Deploy, manage, and scale applications on Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE).

- Use Helm Charts and GitOps practices for Kubernetes deployments.

Monitoring, Reliability & Security :

- Implement observability and monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.

- Establish alerts, dashboards, and logging standards for proactive issue detection.

- Enforce security best practices across cloud infrastructure and application pipelines.

Leadership & Collaboration :

- Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers; promote DevOps best practices.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth releases.

- Participate in incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6 - 8 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS or Azure.

- Expertise in CI/CD tools : Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.

- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

- Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.

- Good scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools : Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.

- Strong understanding of cloud and DevOps security principles.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
