Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Backend Developer with 13 years of experience in designing and developing scalable backend systems using Node.js, Django (or Flask), and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of RESTful API design, database integration, and modern backend architecture. You'll work closely with our frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps team to deliver high-performance and secure applications.

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, Django, or Spring Boot based on project requirements.

- Create and integrate RESTful APIs to connect backend services with frontend applications and third-party systems.

- Manage database schema design, optimization, and integration using SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).

- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code with proper documentation and version control (Git).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, QA, DevOps) to define, design, and ship new features.

- Ensure application security, performance, and scalability under varying loads.

- Debug, test, and fix issues across production and development environments.

- Follow agile methodologies and participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

- Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

- Stay updated with emerging backend technologies, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills :

Proficiency in at least one backend framework/language :

- Node.js with Express.js

- Python with Django/Flask

- Java with Spring Boot

- Strong understanding of RESTful API design, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and web protocols.

- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).

- Basic understanding of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms is a plus.

- Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with microservices architecture.

- Knowledge of unit testing and test-driven development.

- Exposure to message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) or event-driven architecture.

- Familiarity with GraphQL, gRPC, or WebSockets.
