Role Overview :
We are looking for a Technology Leader Performance Engineering to lead complex performance engineering, observability, and digital quality assurance initiatives. The role requires a hands-on technical leader and performance architect with strong enterprise technology expertise, client-facing skills, and the ability to build and scale technology practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and deliver complex Performance Engineering, Observability, and Digital QA projects.
- Provide technical leadership across architecture, performance, scalability, reliability, and production troubleshooting.
- Manage key client relationships and act as a trusted technology advisor to CIO-level stakeholders.
- Identify business opportunities, support pre-sales, conduct POCs, and contribute to winning proposals.
- Build and scale technology teams, capabilities, solutions, automation, and reusable IPs.
- Drive account growth, project profitability, customer satisfaction, and long-term client relationships.
- Conduct project reviews, risk management, architecture assessments, and technical governance.
- Mentor and coach engineers while strengthening performance engineering and architecture capabilities.
- Drive innovation, thought leadership, technical publications, and new solution development.
Required Skills :
- Strong expertise in Application Performance Engineering/APM, Performance Testing, and QA.
- Deep understanding of Java/J2EE and enterprise application architectures.
- Strong experience in RCA, troubleshooting, performance optimization, reliability, and scalability of large-scale systems.
- Hands-on experience with Dynatrace or AppDynamics.
- Experience with application servers such as WebLogic, WebSphere, or JBoss.
- Cloud experience with AWS or Azure.
- Performance testing experience with JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, MS-SQL, MySQL, Cassandra, or MongoDB.
- Exposure to Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, or Storm is desirable.
- Experience with Agile, CI/CD, program governance, risk management, and stakeholder management.
- Strong pre-sales, consulting, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ideal Candidate :
A hands-on technology leader / performance architect who can combine deep technical expertise with client advisory, business development, team leadership, and practice-building capabilities. Experience building technology teams or new solutions from the ground up is highly valuable.
