Job Overview :

We're seeking a highly skilled and analytically driven Power BI Developer with a specialized focus on Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). This onsite contract role in Noida requires 3-5 years of experience in developing robust Power BI solutions. You will be instrumental in designing and managing interactive dashboards, building sophisticated data models, and executing efficient ETL processes to transform complex financial data into actionable insights that directly support strategic decision-making for our FP&A teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and manage high-impact Power BI dashboards and reports that visualize key financial performance indicators, trends, and forecasts for FP&A stakeholders. This includes leveraging advanced visualizations, drill-through capabilities, and implementing robust security measures (e.g., Row-Level Security).

Develop and optimize complex data models within Power BI Desktop, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability for financial datasets. This involves designing star and snowflake schemas, managing relationships, and implementing calculated columns and measures using advanced DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).

Perform Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes using Power Query (M language) within Power BI to cleanse, transform, and integrate data from various financial source systems (e.g., ERP, GL, budgeting tools) into a ready-to-use format for reporting.

Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, particularly FP&A analysts and finance leadership, to deeply understand and analyze complex business requirements related to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

Translate intricate business requirements into precise analytics and reporting solutions within the Power BI ecosystem.

Provide insightful data analysis and reporting that supports strategic decision-making, helping FP&A teams identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and optimize financial performance.

Optimize Power BI report and dashboard performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks in data models, DAX queries, and ETL processes.

Document data models, ETL processes, DAX calculations, and report specifications for maintainability and knowledge transfer.

Required Qualifications :

- 3-5 years of experience in generating reports and dashboards specifically using Power BI.

- Mandatory experience with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) concepts, processes, and reporting requirements.

- Strong proficiency in Data Modeling concepts, including star schemas, snowflake schemas, and managing complex relationships within Power BI.

- Hands-on experience with Data Warehousing principles and concepts.

- Proven expertise in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes using Power Query (M language) within Power BI Desktop.

- Demonstrated proficiency in creating and managing dashboards within Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a proven track record of collaborating effectively with business users and technical teams.

- Proficiency in writing and interpreting SQL queries for data extraction and validation.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with other BI tools or financial reporting platforms.

- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery).

- Knowledge of financial data governance and data quality best practices.

- Relevant certifications in Power BI or financial analysis.
