Job Summary : We are seeking a seasoned COBOL Developer with expertise in modern .NET environments to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing COBOL-based modules that are integrated with .NET systems. This role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and support COBOL-based modules integrated into .NET systems.

- Work closely with business analysts and functional teams to understand and implement payroll logic.

- Enhance and refactor existing code for better performance and maintainability.

- Collaborate with C#/.NET developers to ensure smooth system-wide integration.

- Document changes, perform unit testing, and support QA teams.

- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of experience in COBOL programming within a modern .NET-based environment (non-mainframe).

- Proficiency in C#, with the ability to understand and interact with .NET codebases.

- Strong understanding of payroll processing systems and calculations.

- Ability to analyze legacy COBOL logic and translate it into optimized code.

- Solid communication skills - able to explain technical concepts clearly.

- Self-driven and comfortable working as an individual contributor.
