Job Description
Experience : 10- 15 Years.
Education : Bachelor's or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent.
Role Summary :
The architect will define the technical vision, lead solution architecture, and ensure scalable, secure, API-driven content platforms for large digital ecosystems.
Technical Expertise :
- 10+ Years backend experience with Node.js, TypeScript, REST, GraphQL.
- Strong experience with at least two : Contentful, Contentstack, Bloomreach.
Key Responsibilities :
Architecture & Solution Design :
- Design end-to-end architecture for headless CMS ecosystems using Contentful, Contentstack or Bloomreach.
- Define content models, API structure, microservices, integrations, and system blueprint.
- Architect Node.js / TypeScript-based microservices, backend services, and serverless functions for content delivery.
- Ensure scalability, performance, caching, CDN strategy, and API governance across digital channels.
Technical Leadership :
- Act as the primary technical decision-maker for CMS projects.
- Review code, provide best practices, and guide engineering teams.
- Drive adoption of security, testing, and CI/CD best practices.
CMS Expertise :
- Lead CMS implementation planning including content modeling, workflows, localization, and governance.
- Oversee API-based integrations with eCommerce, search, DAM, CRM, and personalization engines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Work with product owners, designers, and developers to translate requirements into solutions.
- Collaborate with DevOps for deployment, monitoring, and automation.
Documentation & Standards :
- Create architecture documents, API documentation, ERDs, flow diagrams, and integration contracts.
- Establish coding standards and governance guidelines.
Architecture Skills :
- Experience designing distributed microservices systems.
- Strong knowledge of AWS / GCP / Azure.
- Understanding of caching, CDNs, and performance optimization.
- Expertise in scalable API architecture.
Other Skills :
- Ability to lead technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving and enterprise project experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
Good to Have :
- Knowledge of JAMstack (Next.js, Gatsby, Remix).
- Experience with personalization engines.
- Integrations with commerce platforms (Shopify, SFCC, Magento).
- Exposure to GraphQL federations or API gateways.
