CloudRaptor - Senior Platform Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

Description :

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer (Python) to design, build, and scale the core platform systems that power our engineering ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, and developer experience.

You will collaborate with product engineers, SREs, security teams, and architecture leadership to deliver reliable backend services, developer tooling, automation frameworks, and cloud?native systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and maintain scalable platform services and developer tooling using Python.

- Build automation frameworks, orchestration systems, and backend infrastructure.

- Operate and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS/GKE).

- Drive infrastructure as-code and cloud automation initiatives with Terraform.

- Implement best practices for observability, monitoring, and incident response.

- Lead reliability improvements through automation and CI/CD integration.

- Mentor engineers and influence architectural decisions across team

Mandatory Skills :

- Python (production grade automation & tooling)

- Kubernetes (EKS/GKE)

- AWS Cloud

- Terraform / Infrastructure as Code

- CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD)

- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering (B.E.)

- 6-10+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.

- Strong Linux and networking fundamentals.

- Familiarity with SDLC and modern cloud?native practices.
