Job Description :

Cloud Raptor is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to design and operate secure, scalable AWS infrastructure. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, automation scripting, and observability, with proven experience in building shared platform capabilities and troubleshooting distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and manage AWS infrastructure across multiple environments.

- Develop reusable Terraform modules and infra standards.

- Own GitLab CI/CD workflows with strong change controls.

- Support core components : Kong API Gateway, Confluent Kafka, observability tooling, IAM, and networking.

- Enhance monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and incident response.

- Drive automation, self-service tooling, and security/compliance improvements.

- Mentor engineers and produce clear technical documentation.

Candidate Profile :

- 7+ years in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE.

- Deep AWS expertise in multi-account setups.

- Strong Terraform and CI/CD (GitLab) experience.

- Skilled in Python/Bash scripting.

- Solid knowledge of networking, IAM, observability, and monitoring.

- Experience with Kafka and API Gateway (Kong).
