Role Overview :

As a Cloud Support Engineer at Scaling Theory, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the reliability and performance of our clients' cloud environments. You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and provide exceptional technical support. Your contributions will directly impact the uptime and efficiency of critical business applications, ensuring our clients can focus on their core objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide 24/7 technical support to clients, addressing and resolving cloud-related incidents and requests promptly to minimize downtime.

- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to restore service.

- Collaborate with internal engineering and development teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction.

- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and proactively identify potential issues, implementing preventative measures to maintain optimal system health.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of troubleshooting procedures and solutions, enabling efficient knowledge sharing and consistent support delivery.

- Implement and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline support processes and improve efficiency, reducing manual effort and response times.

- Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support, ensuring continuous availability and rapid response to critical incidents.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud environments.

- Proven ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clear understanding and effective collaboration.

- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including virtualization, networking, and security.

- Experience with monitoring tools and techniques for cloud infrastructure.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
