Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Define and lead the cloud strategy, architecture roadmap, and multi-cloud ecosystem, ensuring scalability, security, cost efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee the design and implementation of secure cloud solutions, including identity and access management, data protection, network security, and threat detection.
- Establish and govern cloud security policies, standards, frameworks, and incident response mechanisms to ensure robust protection and regulatory compliance.
- Drive cloud adoption and migration by collaborating with business and technology teams to identify opportunities and enable secure transformation.
- Lead innovation by evaluating and integrating emerging cloud technologies, tools, and security solutions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, security, and data governance standards within cloud environments.
- Act as a key liaison across IT, security, business units, and cloud service providers to drive alignment and execution.
- Manage strategic relationships with cloud vendors and partners, including contract negotiations and service performance management.
- Lead, mentor, and build high-performing teams of cloud architects, engineers, and security specialists, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Oversee cloud operations, including monitoring, risk management, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response.
- Provide executive-level reporting on cloud performance, security posture, risks, and strategic initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and evolving best practices to continuously enhance cloud capabilities.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Extensive leadership experience in IT architecture, cloud technologies, and security within enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise in major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their security capabilities.
- Strong understanding of cloud security architecture, including IAM, encryption, network security, and threat detection.
- Proven experience leading large-scale cloud transformations and implementing secure cloud solutions.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to cloud and data security.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including executive engagement.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, CISSP, CCSP) preferred.
