Position : Platform Engineer - Cloud & Infrastructure

Summary :

Mid-Senior Platform Engineer responsible for supporting and modernizing enterprise infrastructure across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities :

- Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.

- Support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online/Hybrid, and Entra ID.

- Manage Azure infrastructure, including VMs, networking, storage, monitoring, and governance.

- Design and support Nutanix AHV/HCI and VMware environments.

- Support Nutanix Database Service (NDB).

- Automate infrastructure operations using PowerShell/Python and Infrastructure-as-Code.

- Support cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, patching, security, backup, and recovery.

- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and improve platform reliability and scalability.

- Collaborate with architecture, security, and application teams.

- Engineer and support Azure-based infrastructure, including :

o Virtual machines, storage, networking

o Monitoring, governance, and access control

- Design, deploy, and support Nutanix infrastructure, including :

o Nutanix AHV virtualization

o Nutanix HCI hardware platforms

Requirements :

- 5+ years of systems, infrastructure, or platform engineering experience.

- Strong experience with Windows Server, AD, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Nutanix, and virtualization.

- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and infrastructure automation.

- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred :

- NDB, PowerShell, Python, Terraform/Bicep experience.

- Knowledge of NIST/CIS/ISO 27001.

- Microsoft, Azure, Nutanix, or VMware certifications.

Desired Qualifications :

- Experience with Nutanix Database Service (NDB) or similar database platform tools.

- Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python).

- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts (e.g., Terraform, Bicep) in a practical, operations-focused context.

- Experience supporting manufacturing or multi-site enterprise environments.

- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001).

- Experience participating in infrastructure modernization or cloud transformation initiatives.

- Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Azure, Nutanix, VMware).
