Roles & Responsibilities :

- Own the design, implementation, and operational management of enterprise cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.

- Lead cloud infrastructure strategy, architecture decisions, and technology roadmap aligned with business requirements.

- Design highly available, scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud environments.

- Lead cloud migration initiatives, including assessment, planning, execution, and post-migration optimization.

- Manage cloud platforms, networking, compute, storage, databases, identity management, and security services.

- Establish and enforce cloud governance frameworks, policies, standards, and best practices.

- Drive Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) adoption using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Bicep.

- Lead DevOps/SRE practices including CI/CD automation, monitoring, logging, incident management, and reliability improvements.

- Implement cloud security controls, compliance requirements, vulnerability management, and risk mitigation practices.

- Optimize cloud costs through capacity planning, FinOps practices, resource governance, and usage monitoring.

- Define and maintain cloud operational processes, including backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and high availability strategies.

- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex infrastructure, networking, and performance issues.

- Mentor and guide cloud engineers, DevOps engineers, and infrastructure teams.

- Collaborate with application, security, architecture, and business teams to deliver cloud solutions.

- Manage relationships with cloud service providers, technology vendors, and implementation partners.

- Prepare technical documentation including architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and governance standards.

- Participate in technology evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and cloud modernization initiatives.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

Experience :

- 8 to 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, cloud architecture, or DevOps roles.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and managing enterprise cloud environments.

- Proven experience leading cloud transformation, migration, and modernization programs.

- Experience managing production-grade, business-critical cloud platforms.

Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in one or more major cloud platforms :

1. AWS

2. Microsoft Azure

3. Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

- Strong understanding of :

1. Cloud architecture and landing zones

2. Virtual networks, VPNs, load balancers, firewalls, DNS, and routing

3. Compute, storage, databases, and container platforms

4. Kubernetes and container orchestration

5. Linux and Windows server administration

6. Infrastructure automation and scripting

7. CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

8. Monitoring and observability platforms

Automation & DevOps :

- Hands-on experience with :

1. Terraform / CloudFormation / ARM / Bicep

2. Ansible or similar configuration management tools

3. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or equivalent

4. Docker and Kubernetes

Security & Governance :

- Strong understanding of :

1. Cloud security architecture

2. IAM and privileged access management

3. Encryption, key management, and secrets management

4. Vulnerability management

5. Compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, UAE regulatory requirements)

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- Masters degree or relevant professional certifications preferred.
