Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure & Observability SME to support our enterprise observability program across AWS and GCP environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, monitoring, operational reporting, and cloud governance, with a strong focus on ensuring the availability, reliability, performance, and security of enterprise cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead cloud observability initiatives and AWS operational scorecards.

- Design and implement monitoring standards, dashboards, KPIs, and service health metrics.

- Support monitoring across AWS and GCP environments using enterprise observability tools.

- Partner with ScienceLogic, Splunk, ServiceNow ITOM, Database, and BI teams to deliver end-to-end visibility.

- Analyze cloud performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.

- Implement automated monitoring, discovery, alerting, and operational reporting.

- Drive cloud governance, best practices, and operational compliance.

- Document cloud architecture, monitoring standards, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 7+ years of cloud infrastructure and operations experience.

- 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience and 3+ years with GCP.

- Strong expertise in AWS services including EC2, VPC, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, and Route 53.

- Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, ScienceLogic, Splunk, ServiceNow ITOM, Datadog, Dynatrace, or New Relic.

- Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Kubernetes (EKS/GKE), Docker, and Infrastructure as Code.

- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, governance, scalability, and production support.

- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- AWS Solutions Architect or SysOps certification.

- Google Professional Cloud Architect certification.

- Experience supporting large enterprise or utility environments.
