Role & Responsibilities :

- Define and execute the organization's cloud strategy, roadmap, and operating model across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud.

- Own the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure, platforms, and services.

- Lead large-scale cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives.

- Build and manage cloud engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.

- Establish cloud architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.

- Ensure high availability, scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud environments.

- Drive cloud security, compliance, identity management, and risk mitigation initiatives.

- Own cloud cost management, budgeting, and FinOps practices to optimize infrastructure spend.

- Partner with engineering, product, security, and business teams to align cloud capabilities with organizational goals.

- Define and monitor SLAs, SLOs, operational KPIs, and cloud service performance metrics.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

Experience :

- 8 to 12 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or enterprise architecture.

- Proven experience leading cloud transformation programs and large-scale migrations.

- Experience managing cloud teams and cross-functional engineering groups.

- Strong background working with enterprise-grade cloud environments.

Technical Skills :

- Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform :

1. AWS

2. Microsoft Azure

3. Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

- Strong knowledge of :

1. Cloud architecture and networking

2. Kubernetes and container platforms

3. Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep)

4. CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

5. Linux systems and automation

6. Cloud security and compliance

7. Monitoring, logging, and observability platforms

8. Database and application modernization strategies

Leadership Skills :

- Ability to define cloud strategy and influence senior stakeholders.

- Strong team-building and people-management capabilities.

- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and technology roadmaps.

- Excellent communication skills with both technical and business audiences.

- Ability to balance innovation, security, reliability, and cost optimization.
